Ben currently serves as Agency Underwriting Counsel for Chicago Title. He has enjoyed more than eight years as underwriting counsel, formerly serving in the role at Kensington Vanguard National Land Services (formerly BridgeTrust Title Group). Prior to that, Ben spent twelve years as a licensed North Carolina attorney, practicing in the areas of real estate and corporate law. He currently assists clients in both the commercial and residential fields, often taking a practical approach to problem solving. Ben is a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, and has served on the Real Property Council of the NC Bar.
Ben is a graduate of Winthrop University (BA ’01) and attended DePaul College of Law and graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2004. A former college baseball player at Winthrop University, Ben coached at a junior college while attending law school and now enjoys coaching youth baseball in the Lake Norman area.
